The Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) established in 1952, is an autonomous, multidisciplinary Centre for advanced research and training. Widely recognized as a Centre of excellence, it is one of India ‘s leading academic institutions in the fields of economic and social development. We had worked as monitoring agency under Institute of Economic Growth to understand the Risk preferences and risk attitudes of farmers for taking up either new farm or non-farm activities in drought affected regions of West Bengal.
